This is an exciting growth opportunity for a driven, self-starter with strong media relations skills, a fluency in the social and digital landscape, a passion for inspiring culture, and excellent communication and organization skills.

This is a paid internship for juniors, seniors or recent graduates. You will work hand in hand with practices to learn the business, serve clients, and develop PR skills. They will assist with project research, writing and media relations efforts to support client programs. Those seniors who demonstrate our core competencies that Harrison & Shriftman values at the end of the program may have the opportunity to interview for a full-time, entry level position.

Our ideal candidate would have strong account management experience, stellar media relations skills with strong contacts, creative writing skills and a deep understanding of cultural and lifestyle trends. While an extensive background in the spirits industry is ideal, candidates should have some familiarity with the category. This person should be a strategic and creative thinker, have strong leadership, client relations and financial management skills; with a knack for garnering the respect and counsel from client and team members. They should also have the capability to perform a wide range of duties including the development of client programs, strategic planning, staff development and financial management. This person, working under a Vice President will serve as a key liaison with clients, account and interagency teams   H&S offers a challenging and rewarding environment where you’ll have the opportunity to work with leading brands, collaborate with some of the brightest people in the industry, and play a key role in growing an important piece of business.
