    Our New York office is currently seeking Interns to work a minimum 30 hours/week over the summer. This is a paid internship for juniors, and seniors.

    You will work hand in hand with practices to learn the business, serve clients, and develop PR skills. They will assist with project research, writing and media relations efforts to support client programs. Those seniors who demonstrate our core competencies that Harrison & Shriftman values at the end of the program may have the opportunity to interview for a full-time, entry level position.

    About the Job

    • Develop and maintain media lists
    • Monitor and track media and write media updates
    • Prepare pitch letters and pitch media
    • Assist in the development of press materials including fact sheets and backgrounders
    • Attend client and/or team meetings
    • Write client and/or team memos
    • Assist with research for new business opportunities and client presentations
    • Assist with event coordination
    • Participate in brainstorms
    • Participate in internal meetings and agency events


    • Current juniors or seniors and recent graduates
    • Must be available to work a minimum of 30 hours a week
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and strong presentation skills
    • Strong understanding of social media and robust intellectual curiosity
    • Flexibility to work on a variety of projects
    • Previous internships in PR a plus
    • Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
