We in search of a supremely talented, culturally connected Senior Account Executive to join our Consumer Lifestyle Marketing team. This individual will have a passion for media relations, talent for storytelling, an ear for the news, they will be curious, intelligent and have a desire to work with the best, brightest and most creative people in the business. Experience with consumer, spirits and travel is a plus. This candidate will play an integral role in developing media and influencer engagement strategies and execution for our clients that include:

About the Job

Functional Leadership & Management

  • Build strategic media and influencer plans aligned with our client’s goals; oversee and play active part in execution
  • Serve as an integral player in the execution of traditional and online media and influencer engagement programs (includes brand owned media events, partnerships and festivals, social activations and sponsored content)
  • Bring to life and conceptualize communications ideas and KPIs via traditional, online and social media based
  • Posses strong presentation skills and the ability to craft strategy for new business presentations
  • Ability to build positive working relationships with talent agents, management agencies and influencer networks
  • Maintain current on latest traditional, digital, and social media tech trends that can help deliver best-in-practice results for clients
  • Share account successes to the broader team and shape case studies for the agency

Media and Influencer Relations

  • Build and maintain excellent ongoing relationships with national spirits trade publications, business, consumer, lifestyle and mainstream editors and influencers to create and place compelling stories that yield relevant media coverage and content
  • Decode culture to concept, craft and create media and digital/social influencer briefs that generate persuasive shareable content and earned coverage
  • Keep up with current events/spot trends in traditional, digital and social media – particularly as they relate to spirits, music, fashion and lifestyle
  • Provide daily monitoring and tracking of media and influencer social placements
  • Monitor and track competitive brands’ media and influencer activations
  • Understands social etiquette, comply with ethical standards and agency and client social media policies

Client Service Excellence

  • Be a strong team player who actively participates and works in partnership with the brand team, agency partners and senior leadership with the goal of generating focused media results
  • Participate in brainstorms, team meetings and ideation sessions
  • Respond to client/account needs and requests in a timely fashion
  • Conduct research to support current campaigns and new business activities
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills and creative solutions to media roadblocks
  • Aid in the new business process including idea contribution, research and proposal preparation
  • Commit to continuous learning; set and pursue stretch goals

Sales & Growth

  • Ideate and proactively share opportunities to increase influencer activation budget and/or drive incremental revenue


  • Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, English, marketing or a related field
  • Three to five years of experience in public relations, brand management and/or influencer marketing field in an agency or a non-agency setting
  • Comfort and familiarity in social and digital marketing
  • Demonstrable engagement with pop culture and understanding of influencer and blogger landscape
  • Organized, self-starter, and creative maverick 
  • Experience seeing media relations and influencer partnerships through from start to finish 
  • Experience working with or vetting talent and/or influencers  
  • Knowledge of pop culture and strong interest in entertainment, fashion, spirits, travel, hospitality, film, or television  
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with other agency capabilities to meet common goals
  • Strong media pitching and writing skills a must
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented with proven ability to multitask to manage priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically PowerPoint and Excel
  • Results driven with a focus on delivering excellent client service
  • Takes initiative and demonstrates flexibility when priorities shift
  • Experience within the spirits and travel industry highly preferred
