H&S has an immediate opportunity for a Content Specialist, who will work across teams to guide both client and agency content through the creation process, from definition to publishing and beyond. The right candidate is a great communicator, with developed verbal & visual skills, who will play an active role in business development; helping develop and evangelize a company-wide perspective on the use of emerging media; and building new products and services for the agency. The role involves generation of completely new content as well as reworking of existing content from client archives.

About the Job

  • Develop and implement strategies and tactical programs to influence audiences across the blogosphere and various social media platforms
  • Leverage personal and professional experience with emerging media content and online community engagement to showcase your ability to drive compelling experiences across the Web
  • Work across multiple teams to develop and create content and assist in project management utilizing diverse core capabilities, including graphic design, photo & video production, social media, etc.
  • Develop/manage influencer relations programs and successfully implement related activities, including outreach, negotiation and content-based deliverables
  • Oversee day-to-day management of agency social channels
  • Drive brand awareness, engagement, and traffic to a website/ social media pages
  • Research best practices and resources for new or existing client projects
  • Assist in the development of presentations for clients and new business opportunities, including deck design

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1-2 years professional experience working in digital, interactive or social media experience
  • Strong personal and professional experience in creating content for online communities
  • Demonstrable engagement with popular culture and understanding of influencer and blogger landscape
  • Solid project management, research, writing and editing skills
  • Creative flair for idea generation and design
  • Must have proven ability to create stories, angles and unique positioning
  • Strong technology skills in illustration and graphic design to deliver on editing and image manipulation
  • Ability to support and manage requests from clients, accounts, and creative teams
  • An understanding of integrated marketing and traditional public relations
  • Good written and spoken communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented with proven ability to multitask to manage priorities
  • Results driven with a focus on delivering excellent client service
  • Takes initiative and demonstrates flexibility when priorities shift
  • Knowledge of InDesign, Photoshop, Google Analytics, Brandwatch, major Social Media tools, platforms and influencer communities (e.g. Spike, Ruzzit, Muckrack, Reddit, Niche, IZEA, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite.
